The 39-year-old Michael Kadlub starts off with the disadvantage of spending six weeks on the road for work. But P90X and a plan to eat sensibly will help him on his way to reaching his goal of the 200 pounds he weighed during his days on the John Carroll football team.

Month 3 - Bring It
We all had our second weigh ins last week. I was pleasantly surprised I had lost a couple of pounds after having been out of town the majority of the month, including a cruise where temptation got the better part of me.
Spring is upon us and now it is time to put our best foot forward to get in the best shape we possibly can. I am looking forward to April and hopefully some better weather so the outdoor activities can begin!

Feeling Good
I am getting back into the groove this week. I played basketball a few nights and went for a few bike rides.

2nd Weigh in Coming up
It is hard to believe that we are almost 2 months into our journey. Getting the email this morning from Laura reminding us of our weigh-in this Saturday reminded me how much I have been slacking recently. With Spring upon us, it is definitely time to spring into action and stop making excuses!

Happy St Patty's Day
I hope everybody is having a fun and safe St. Patrick’s Day today.
I am finally getting back into my routine now that I am home for a while. The cruise and vacation in Las Vegas definitely set me back. After losing over 20lbs from my initial weigh in, I put back on almost all of it.
Hopefully I can get back on track and have a successful weigh in next week.
This beautiful weather is going to be helpful allowing me to exercise outside more and more in the coming months.

Happy Fat Tuesday
What an appropriate day to tease all of us in the weight loss challenge. Do you avoid the temptations and treat it like any other day? Or do you treat yourself to a nice feast and then turn it up a notch moving forward? That is today’s dilemma.
One thing is for sure, going on a cruise during a weight loss challenge is not the best idea. I had my fun, now it is time to focus and get back on my journey!

Back to the Routine, Finally
The last 2 months were enjoyable with trips to Arizona, Las Vegas, and most recently a cruise to Cozumel and Grand Cayman. I was able to stay away from this incredibly cold and snowy winter we have been having in Lake County. However, it was not good for my exercise and daily eating routine, especially the cruise. Hopefully, I did not put on too much weight back on during my travels. A little over 3 weeks until the next weigh-in, so I have my work cut out for me. It will be nice to get back into my daily routine of eating right and exercise.
